Future Shock!

When putting together this post, Lady GaGa's "Starstruck", Britney Spears "Get Back", Franz Ferdinand's "Lucid Dreams" and Kylie Minogue's "Sensitized" were running through my playlist on my ipod. Man I tell ya music is such an inspiration for all things for me. Since I was a kid, I was always very intrigued by the things of the future and the media's and entertainment's depiction of it. I love knowing that music has it's depictions of what the future of music is beginning to sound like. More and more I hear the waves of the old 80's classic synthesizer mixed with pulsing guitars and faded vocals leading to massive echo effects, I love echo effects. I hope to achive that sound in my own music that i'm working on. I just thought that all these pictures i've posted were really great(love the boots and the Louis Vuitton shoes pictured!) and the fascination of the not so distant future has even inspired many celebs(Beyonce, Grace Jones, Tilda Swinton, Lady GaGa and Rihanna all pictured), as well! So folks, it's time to hop aboard the train leading us to this future wonderland filled with neon lights, studded wishes and silver dreams...
enjoy guys,

No More Teen Years...Hello 20's

Well I'm offically done with my tean years! I turned 20 on March 5th 2009, and it feels so odd to me still. I mean it's really a transitional period for me now. My friends and I went out to celebrate the big day at applebees in Times Square. Man that strawberry daiquiri was sooooo the bomb man!! if anyone makes a trip there PLEASE GET IT!!! It was fun up until the end cause of the train situation, which i think made all of us very annoyed and uneasy.
Because of the delays and the alternating of the train tracks we arrived hours late as did my other two friends. I think if it hadn't have been for the smelly trains it would have been even more fun! But as always my friends and I have a gifts for making the best of any situation.
My friend payed for my dinner and her bf bought me a drink(pictured the cosmopolitan), as my gifts so I thank them for that so much! My other friends said that they have gifts on the way, so i'm excited to see what those are gonna be! My Aunt bought me that pretty cake which was awsome since i didn't get to wear a tiara like i had always wanted to. That cake was soooo good too! The Inside was made of chocolate and Vanilla. OMG was it tasty!
All in all i had a great time and as in my my new tradition i'll celebrate up until the end of march!
I thank everyone for comming!,

Helping The Helpless Helps You ...

You know i've been having a bit of a very rough and stressful week. Things seem to be stressing me out more often and the smallest seem to snowball in the biggest of things. I guess that every person has endure a "rough patch" period in their lives but i mean this is getting to heavy on me now.
But today i somehow managed to escape from inside those dandy old four walls and re joined the living. I went to pay a visit to my good friend and got to see my little niece. i remember when she was born on May 9, 2008 and she was a big baby too! I didn't get to see her in the hospital, I make it a goal to visit her and her mom more often. It wasn't until when I was talking to my friend that I realized that she too is dealing with major stress. I think with the rollercoaster economy it has everyone up in arms and it is horrible.
I strongly feel in my heart that President Obama has come to us at the perfect time and will give America back it's dignity and strength. When I was playing with my niece I snapped a few great pics of her, in m effort to capture these remaining moments before the next time i look up, and she will be in College! lol It was in taking those pictures of her I forgot about this woahful period i'm going through and was captured by her youth and free atttude. Man babies are so intelligent and they learn so fast! She does something new everyday and it's so amazing to see a childs eyes light up when they smile or enjoy soemthing.
That was just it to me, i mean she was only playing with a stuffed toy puppy and her entire face lit up! She was taking simple pleasure in playing with this little toy and it was astonishing to see that. It was when I was watching so protectively over her that I realized that through this rough patch that I should re-open my eyes and learn to enjoy getting joy out of doing the simple things in life. Photography really brings me that joy and you can see that in the way I take a picture or capture the image. Photography isn't just about fashion or a glamour images, but about life and real things; frozen art immitating the many movemens of life.
